By your equation it looks like the hearing lost range would be from 5% to 18%.
all you need to do is put in the age in the equation and solve for it. The answer I imagine are negative because it is a loss (or that is not the equation).

Are you sure this equation is right? The first two terms could be combined, since they are both multiples of x. The simpler and totally equivalent equation would then be:
y = 6.6434 - 0.4181x
Putting x = 35 as an example, this gives
y = 6.6434 -0.4181*35
= 6.6434 - 14.6335
= -7.9901
This gives a negative result. I don’t know whether that is what you expected.
